My dear teachers and friends, I am happy to announce to you my new tour called Lo Mejor de Mi 2011-2012.

On this tour I will be performing the most popular songs of my career, including "Magdalena", "Ya no puedo estar sin ti", "El gran Campeon", and many others.

Of course, I won't be leaving out those songs that have remained for so long in our hearts, such as "Tu", La Bamba", "Cielito Lindo", and "Siempre por siempre".

Mejor de Mi aims to encourage in students the importance of giving the best of ourselves in every situation of our lives, showing the entire world that if I always give the best of me, everything is possible.

I want you to know that this tour will be my last. After 15 years of traveling the United States and the world over, I have taken the decision to step down and leave the stage behind. It has not been an easy decision because I love being with all of you teachers and students. Maybe you are wondering what my reason is, and the answer is my three loves: my wife Eva and my two little angels, five year old Camila and two year old Emanuel. My two children need their father, and their father needs them.

Today, at this stage of my life, these people are my main priority and responsibility. This is the beautiful reason why I have taken this difficult decision.

My dear friends, this does not mean that I am distancing myself from you. I will continue to work with all my effort, committed to fomenting the teaching of Spanish in this country. I want to let you know that we are incorporating to Justo Lamas Group young artists who truly want to bring Latin American music to all the schools and youth of the United States with an inspiring message and positive values, the same way that I have been doing right up to today.

Beginning in the autumn of 2012, my role will be to direct my company and to put in all my experience of 15 years of singing on stage by composing and producing the show that these new artists will be presenting. Of course, I will be present in every detail. I want you to know that the show will be the same one as always. The only change will be that of the artist.

I'll be expecting you for my final tour, Lo Mejor de Mi 2011-2012. Don't even doubt for a second about joining me. You won't regret it! Set a date!
